주문형 반도체(ASIC) 설계 서비스 및 IP 공급 선도기업인 패러데이 테크놀로지(Faraday Technology Corporation, 이하 ‘패러데이’)(대만증권거래소: 3035)가 모든 파운드리에 적용 가능한 FinFET 기술용 설계 구현 서비스를 처음으로 선보인다고 13일 발표했다.
이런 플렉서블한 서비스는 패러데이의 ASIC 설계 경험과 리소스를 활용해 지정된 IC 설계 섹션 내의 파운드리에서 제공하는 첨단 FinFET 기술(8nm, 7nm, 5nm 및 기타)을 사용하는 글로벌 팹리스기업, 시스템기업, ASIC서비스기업 및 파운드리기업이 출시 시간을 단축하고 리소스를 효율적으로 배분하도록 지원한다.
패러데이는 1993년 설립 이후 다양한 애플리케이션분야에서 수많은 ASIC제품을 설계했고 IC 설계 트랜드와 양산 시 발생할 수 있는 문제를 명확히 파악하고 있다. 패러데이는 서비스 실행를 통해 설계 통합, 설계 및 레이아웃 검증, 합성, DFT 구현 및/또는 실제 구현 작업을 지원할 수 있다. 패러데이는 프로젝트 조율을 위해 기술 프로젝트 리더가 이끄는 전담 팀을 운영한다. 개발과정 및 일정은 사내 온라인 시스템을 통해 완벽히 관리할 수 있다. 원격으로 진행하는 협업은 보안실을 통해 보호돼 고객의 독점 정보에 대한 보안을 보장한다.

Faraday Technology Corporation (TWSE: 3035), a leading ASIC design service and IP provider, announced the debut of its design implementation services for FinFET technology targeting all foundries. This flexible service leverages Faraday’s ASIC design experiences and resources to support global fabless houses, system houses, ASIC providers, and foundries who access advanced FinFET technology (8nm, 7nm, 5nm and beyond), provided by foundries in any designated section of IC design, for their short time-to-market and efficient resource allocation.
Faraday, established in 1993, has abundant ASIC design experience in a wide range of applications and is acquainted with each part of IC design flow and possible issues for mass production. With the implementation service, Faraday can assist in design integration, design and layout verification, synthesis, DFT implementation, and/or physical implementation. It embraces a dedicated team with a technical project leader for coordination. The implementation flow and schedule can be fully managed via an in-house online system. The remote collaboration is protected via a secured room to guarantee the security of customers’ proprietary information.
